Showcase your holiday spirit and creative flair in the ChristmasVille Ornament Contest – Cardboard Edition! Join us in transforming simple cardboard into captivating holiday ornaments. This is an excellent opportunity for artists of all ages to demonstrate their skills and compete for wonderful prizes.
Contest Entry Details:
- Registration: Complete registration and pay the $10 entry fee by December 1, 2024.
- Submission: All creations must be dropped off at the Center for the Arts between 9am and 5pm on December 5th.
- Material Requirement: Ornaments must be crafted entirely from cardboard.
Categories and Prizes:
- Adult (20+ years): $100 cash prize
- Teen (13-19 years): $75 cash prize
- Child (5-12 years): $50 cash prize
- People’s Choice: $30 cash prize
Winners will be celebrated and announced during the festival’s closing ceremony on Sunday, December 8.
Ornament Display and Voting During ChristmasVille:
From December 6th to 8th (9 am-5 pm), you can visit the Center for the Arts and immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere at the ChristmasVille Ornament Contest Display! Here, you can admire the ingenuity of local artists of all ages, with their cardboard creations proudly showcased, and vote for your favorite!
People’s Choice Award Voting:
The excitement continues with the People’s Choice Award! You have the power to decide which creation deserves the top honor. Cast your vote and support the artist whose work resonates most with your heart and imagination. Voting hours are 9 am-5 pm December 5-7 and 9 am -3 pm December 8th.
