Unleash your creativity during ChristmasVille’s annual Gingerbread House Contest, where creativity flourishes, and everyone from the young to the young-at-heart can showcase their artistic skills. Exciting prizes await participants in various categories, and your entries will be a central attraction throughout the festival.
Contest Entry Details:
- Registration Deadline: Complete registration and pay the $10 entry fee by December 1, 2024.
- Submission Instructions: All gingerbread houses must be dropped off at the Center for the Arts between 9am and 5pm on December 5th.
- Design Requirements: Creations must be built on a hard, transportable board no larger than 12”x12”
Prize Categories:
- Children (5-12 years): $50
- Teen (13-19 years): $75
- Adult Amateur (20+ years): $100
- Adult Professional (20+ years): $100
- People’s Choice: A trophy and $50 cash prize
The anticipation for the winners will build up to the Festival’s Closing Ceremony on Sunday, December 8th, where the most imaginative entries will be celebrated.
Visit the Gingerbread House Display at ChristmasVille
From December 6th-8th (9 am-5 pm) you can visit the Center for the Arts and indulge your senses and marvel at a range of gingerbread creations, from whimsical cottages to elaborate castles, each showcasing unique creativity and skill.
People’s Choice Award Voting:
Don’t miss your chance to vote for the People’s Choice Award! Voting hours are 9 am-5 pm December 5-7 and 9 am -3 pm December 8th. The winner will not only receive a $50 cash prize but will also claim the coveted title of People’s Choice Champion, along with a limited-edition trophy.
